It has been eight years since the last time we renewed our website, and an upgrade is long overdue.

"We have worked hard to map the needs of our customers, and we hope that you will find the new site well-organised and user-friendly. We are always striving to improve, and we welcome your feedback if you feel something is missing or unclear," says Helga Maria Sulen Sund, Web Editor.

Re-registration for newsletters

Please note that to continue receiving newsletters, you will need to re-register. By registering your e-mail address, you will be able to log in and manage your subscriptions. You can subscribe to uptates on news, circulars, consultations, regulations, announcements, lessons learned, security level information and various reports.

"We understand that re-registering may seem like a hassle, but it might be a good thing too! With the new categories in place, this process will help tailor your subscriptions to better suit your needs. It will also ensure that we have your correct e-mail address, so you will not miss any important information," our Web Editor adds.

Enhanced search engine and new ship search

With this upgrade, we have removed outdated content and worked to improve site navigation. Now you can search in both regulations and circulars, and the overall search function of the website is significantly better.

Many come to our website to search for ships in the ship registers, so we have made a new and improved ship search function.

"We are excited for the launch of the new ship search, which will be much clearer and easier to use," says Tone Olsen Risnes, Senior Adviser at the Ship Registers.

There is more new content to come in the following months, so stay tuned!
